How to Curate a Collection of Your Favorite Feeds on Social Media

From Instagram to Twitter, social media has many advantages: it’s fun, informative and helps you stay up to date with what’s trending based on what interests you. However, it can also be cluttered and confusing at times – much like swimming through a sea of brussels sprouts just to find the donut you’ve been hungrily searching for. In other words, it’s tough to find stuff you like.

We each have our own passions, and those passions most certainly extend into who we love to follow on social media (we’re looking at you, guy who only follows dogs-that-dress-like-people feeds on Instagram). So we think it is crucial that you should be able to have all your favorite feeds in one place. Imagine a world where all the feeds you love to follow on Twitter, YouTube and Instagram come together to co-exist in the same cozy little space. Lucky for you, we’ve created this magical world with Mashfeed! To help inspire you, we made a quick list on how to make your very own collections and share them with your friends:

1) Download Mashfeed

2) On the home page, tap the big plus + button in the top right hand corner to create a new collection.

3) Name your collection (Ex: Pizza 4 Life, Turtles R Us, etc.)

4) Add in all your favorite feeds and/or hashtags (Ex: @kanyedoingthings@HonestToddler, #GiveLeoAnOscar

5) Visit Mashfeed whenever you want to see all the feeds you love without being bombarded by all the other stuff.

6) Tell your friends how cool Mashfeed is and show off your new collection #likeaboss.

Here’s some inspiration that’ll get you curating in no time.

For Friends
While you’re friends with hundreds of people on Facebook (including people you never even met) and follow just as many on Twitter (does anyone really pay attention to everyone they follow), it’s hard to keep up with the people that matter. Use Mashfeed to create a “Best Friends” collection that only includes the feeds of the people nearest and dearest to you.

For Interests
From TV shows to bands, the number of social media accounts you have to keep up with to stay up to date with your favorite hobbies can be daunting. By creating a collection of the Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube feeds for each of your interests, you can easily keep up.

For Inspiration
One of the many advantages of social media is that it can do the brainstorming for you. Whether you’re trying to pick out an #ootd or #foodporn to try for dinner, chances are there is someone posting content just for you.

Even if you’re new to social media, Mashfeed has you covered. From Foodstagram to Street Art, there is a collection for everyone.
